Anything is possible, but doubt the '86 Celica will work as a
donor since it was the first front wheel drive model year. It
used the S53 transmission (transaxle).
For '86 through at least '93 Toyotas, the transmission ID code
could be found on the vehicle ID number under the hood. Don't
know if this was the case for earlier/later cars.
