Yes, you are correct. The Series II should have a center cardboard strip and 2
aluminum side pieces that are covered in thin black material. They are used to
not
only provide a finished appearance to the under side of the dash top, but they
also hold the bottom flaps from the dash top to the body of the car. These parts
are held in with pop rivets. I don't think I have any extras, but I can provide
you with pictures and patterns if you need them.
