Dan Walters and I did some testing last night with a
stock head, and with my ported big valve head.
The stock flow figures were pretty close to those
in your testing, so correlation is there.
I plan to take some digital snapshots, and take some
port/profile measurments as well.
I can say this, you have to go to a lot of trouble to
get a considerable flow improvement.

The "stock" head actually was modified slightly. I performed a minor
cleanup of the ports long before the test. They have an unmolested head
that is to be tested as well.
