As a side bar , We here in Lansing had a 100 year celebration of the Olds
cars and a 1904 curved dash was involved in an accident on one of our main
streets a few days before the event took place. Oldsmobile took the car and
had a group of machinist and metalworkers here in the factory repair and
replace the buggy good as new at no cost to the owner . They even had it
ready for the parade. If memory serves me right the owner said the repair
bill if he would have had it done would have been well over the 10k mark.
