I've heard that Sunbeam-Talbots could be specially ordered in any colour the
buyer desired if he didn't like the standard factory colours. If this is
true, then any colour that was available in Britain in 1953 would be correct
for the car - sort of.
But I realise this isn't really what Alex wants to know.

Can the club help.
I am trying to find out what colours were applicable to my 1953 MK2a
Talbot
90.
When I check the web site in England there are numerous colours for
Sunbeams
in that year.
I really need to see the colours and wonder if anyone might know of a
paint
supplier that has the colour selection and can show me a sample.
As the car is being stripped back I have the option of changing the
colour,
but I want to be sure that the new colour is correct for the model and
year.
The current colour is a light blue which was over sprayed with a
metallic
blue.
If I am stuck I will revert to the original colour, but it looks a
little
drab.
Any help will be appreciated.
