I just found out what the grind is on my series V camshaft.
Open Close
Intake 26 deg 62 deg @ .016" lash
Exh 62 deg 26 deg @ .018" lash
Lift 0.264"
Duration 268
Overlap 52
I have set the lash to stock specifications (.012 and .014") not knowing
that it should be different. I will reset the lash this weekend. I
understand that too tight a valve lash will hurt the low end performance.
Any other changes I should expect? Is it possible to advance the cam
timing a few degrees to improve performance?
