Roger Foote has a Venezia in Australia. I believe he is creating a replica
of the supposed Venezia Tiger.

Indeed my car is featured in British Car issue #92 and is blue, not green.
Most pictures were taken during the Tigers East/Alpine East United in
Portland Maine last summer.
A fellow named Tony Inzana in California owns a green one. It has wire
wheels and horizontal grille bars, instead of the normal vertical ones.
Also in Texas is a green one, however that one supposedly came from
Switzerland in the eighties.
Mine was titled in Virginia in 1967 by a certain C.M. Jones.
This car was imported from Germany by a service man, and there is a German
date plate on the car.
I do not think mine is the same car as you saw in Manhattan!
Since I have been unable to track down Mr. Jones, I don't know if he was
the one who imported mine. Supposedly he (?) imported three Venezia's??
>From what I know there are 5 Venezia's in the USA and approx.
2 in Italy/Autralia/S.Africa, 5 in England, 3 in Holland/Spain/Belgium, 1 in
Switzerland/France/Germany.
Altogether about 30 remaining car are known to have survived in the world.
Questions:1) Can anyone help me find Mr. Jones, or if there were
earlier
registrations?
2) If David still has that picture, I sure would be
interested. Let
me know!
3) Where is Mr. Wade's car now ?
4) Any others known to somebody?
5) Where do I find new rubber for the vent windows?

I don't remember the fellow's name or much about him. I do remember the car
needed TLC. The interior was worn and a little ratty and it could have used
some paint. I think this must have been around 1974 as I bought a '69
Alpine
GT instead for $750.

A very close friend of mine had a green Venezia in the early 70s in New
York.
Her dad's last name is Wade. Does that ring any bells? I have a black and
white photo of the car somewhere around my house. He raced Sunbeams in Spain
and South America as well. Mostly Imps, but also the occasional Alpine.
