Oh yes- there is also a large spring!!! But those usually don't break.

that can go bad-the cam follower "foot", the diaphram and the 2 valves. 
Everything except the "foot" comes in a rebuilding kit.  Look at the part of
the foot that rests on the cam, if it shows little wear, it is probably OK
and
a simple rebuilding will fix everything up.

I got it going with an electric fuel pump but would rather go back to
