Hello All,

Thanks to everyone with advice! 

I think I'm going to keep this flex fan and modify it. (I hate boxing stuff
back up to return in the mail!) Although I do have access to a lathe, a
machine shop would probably be able to handle this modification with much
more accuracy. I might even paint the fan instead of it's original
obnoxious bright blue color!
