I will be re-installing the Alpine gearbox with OD this weekend. Their
was lengthy discussion about non-detergent 30w oil to be used. I was all
set to purchase the quarts needed and I saw in the manual 10w30 oil is
recommended. Which will be best for this application? Is the OD the
reason for the non-detergent? Thanks Brent
