In the long run, I would really use a better oil, like Mobil 1, instead
of just regular motor oil. The German made Getrag 5-speeds, used in the
Quad4 powered GM mid-size cars, shift much better with Mobil 1 and/or
tranny oils from Redline. I know our 35 year old transmission technology
is not up to today's precision, but if anyone try's it and notice a
difference, I would like to hear about it.
