Wiring Diagram for Series 3 GT

Hi List,
        I have found the wiring diagram for the Series V, but I'm in the
need for one for the Series 3 GT.  
We have the car put back together now and need to upgrade/update the wiring,
the difference between 
positive and negative ground/earth is what's got me confused.  Is there
anyone out there that can help 
us, i.e. a site for the diagram or "Great words of Wisdom" or...............
????
