Yes, this should be possible. I don't no any reason why this would not
work.
Lack of power would be the only problem.
I have two of these transmission available. What you also should get is the
automatic brake pedal, which is slightly different. I have one of those.
I'm located in NH near Vermont border.

I may get flamed for this but... My wife has finally gotten the Alpine bug
but doesn't drive a standard. She has just acquired a Series II. Is it
possible to install a borg-warner automatic transmission from the Series IV
into this car? Does anyone know if this transmission was used in another
Rootes product? Also are there any out there to be acquired?
