Hi Mark,

The same thing happend to my Series V during winter storage several years
ago. Lehtinen's advice will work, but I had two people in my car to give
the clutch more resistance to break free. Good luck.

Hi,

Hope someone can help me. I visited my Series 4 Alpine last weekend as it
had
been left in its winter garage since I moved to London last October.
Although
I got the engine to start without too much trouble I couldnt get it into
gear
to reverse out of the garage!.

I checked the fluid level first and it was fine. I checked underneath and
the
rod out of the clutch cylinder was moving when the pedal was pressed, but
it
didnt return by itself when the pedal was released. What can I do?

Any advice would be gratefully received.
