I've heard that the mid-80's 1.6 Toyota dual overhead cam engine is a great swap. Does anyone have an Alpine or know of one with this engine? I heard of a guy in the States fitting a Ford 2.8L V6 and I'm wondering if it is a feasible alternative to reconditioning the 1725 engine I recently bought. Any tips / guidance / advice? Thanks ps For the purists - I'll be storing the original engine not scrapping it! |
