I don't know how it is in California, but when I go to the New York Auto Show,
I wear my best pin stripe suit and my wife and daughter dress up. In the past
we have been invited into the Ferrari exhibit for a closer look if we wanted
and got first class treatment at MB, Audi, BMW, Lexus, etc.
So maybe dressing for the occasion would help.
