I just got my speedo back from Morris of West Valley Instrument Specialists
(818) 758-9500. They were able to find internal gears to give me 1440,
exactly what I needed for the SV OD and 3:89. He said he could also easily
had done it using an external converter - which may be better if you want
to leave the gauge "stock". He said he could probably do it internally
again, but couldn't guaranty it until the time he received the gauge and
went though his stock of gears to see if he had the right combination at
that time. I haven't installed it yet. It certainly looks new - he even
cleaned up the metal back side and took off some markings with a marker
someone else put on it.
