Would the correct color please stand up?

I've gone an gotten myself all confuse, so maybe someone can help straighten me 
out. What is the correct color for the hand brake lever on a S3 - SV? I've seen 
silver and black, but I'm not sure what the correct finish is. Anyone? Were 
they silver at first, then changed to black later in production?
