Other issue is that the engine is probably running slightly richer due to
restriction of air. The Rootes engines seem to be more sensitive to this then
other cars and also to temperature of incoming air.

I have a Series I with twin Zeniths and would like to get air cleaners
updated. Do you have sufficient hood clearance with these air cleaners
and does your engine run richer due to loss of air?
