Jay,
Mo-Ma lady told me she's done most of the recent Pebble Beach winners. She sold
me an 8000rpm  tach, converted to solid state which purported to mimic the
Tiger's lettering style, but it looked a tad crude to my eye. It was not the
Alpine face reworked to say "V-8". It worked beautifully tho I never did see
the needle at 8000. Nisonger fixed my speedo years before & did a good job,
too.
