As some may notice, there is a new Johnny Lightening car showing up on
eBay. It seems to be part of the "British Invasion" series. The car is
labeled by Johnny Lightening as a "1967 Sunbeam Alpine." It seems to be
the same exact mold/car as the dark blue one that was in the Johnny
Lightening James Bond Series (which was supposed to be light blue and an
early Alpine with pointy fins). Well, this one is now light blue. So,
it's getting closer. But, on examination of the picture of the car, it
seems to be a Tiger not an Alpine! It seems to have the Tiger strip along
the side (Mark I/Ia strip) and seems to have the badge at the end of the
strip on the fin. So, although they got the color right now, they've now
got the model wrong too.
