I acquired a used reverse stop plunger from reliable Tom Wiencek to replace mine from a S2. When I received it, I noticed the spring inside measured 1.75" while my original was 3". Should I be concerned about this or is the only function of it is to keep the bottom of the gearshift lever away from reverse without some additional tension? The plunger shape was also different but I am not concerned about that, just the difference in strength between the two springs. Any ideas? Brent |
