Thanks for all the replies =E2=80=93 nice to know so many are active on =
the chat page !
I have no interest whatsoever in this car, but I am always amazed at =
what sellers claim on eBay: the car is listed as a TR250, the Vin given =
by the seller is likely the body number of a TR4A and the description =
says it is a TR5 !!

There were only about 68500 Tr 4. 4a=E2=80=99s produced. Though the body =
numbering did not match exactly the number of cars. If this is a =
correct body Id it would put it near the end of those produced. Only =
true way to find out would be to get a Heritage certificate.

There is a car on eBay (my favorite site =E2=80=93 not) variously =
described as a 1967 TR250 and a TR5 with a V8 conversion.

What=E2=80=99s the consensus =E2=80=93 a TR4A ?
