To my knowledge, the early hazard flasher switch with the flat face has never
been available on the aftermarket. If you want an original, itâ??ll have to be
a used one. The â??72 switch with the dished face is supplied by the parts
vendors, which requires a bit of filing/grinding to the dash in order to fit
the wider switch. The wiring works without modification - it may be that
youâ??ll need to experiment with the terminal connections (there may be six
terminals on the later switch?) and a continuity checker to find the right
connection combinations. Of the four wires connected to the haz switch on a
â??69, the the two light green/brown wires should be connected to work the turn
signals, and the purple wire and purple /red wire should be connected to work
the hazard flashers. Hope this helps? Matt M.
