Dave---The stem of the mirror is dovetailed into the bracket that is screwed
into the windshield frame. Remove one of the end screws and slide off the end
piece. Slip the mirror stem into the open end, and replace the end piece and
it's screw. If the mirror wobbles even when the screw(s) are snug, add some
thin strips of metal to make things tighter. (Cut up a beer/soda can, if you
don't have shim stock). If all else fails, I think you can still get new
bracket from TRF.
