The stock B1AF's were too rich for my '72 Tri-carb with ZS's where I
live at 5,000 feet. I spent some time on the phone with Joe Curto and
he came up with trying to use BC1E's from a Jaguar V12 E-type
Automatic, which used four ZS 1.75s. Those needles were able to bring
my mixture into an adjustable range considering my altitude. There are
different needles available for ZS carbs, fewer than SU's but they are
still available. Give Joe Curto a call or email and see what he can do
for you.

Another possible source to investigate is Burlen Fuel Systems in
Salisbury, England.
