I tried one of the other instructor's helmet and it has better viewing
capabilities ( rest shade) than the one I got from Snap On, and the HF, i
tried today. I don't know the brand.

I am taking a welding course now.
The instructor said he has an expensive one and one from Harbor Freight ,
and the one from H.F. works just as well.
They have auto adjusting ones from $39-49 on sale.
