I will agree with Stan. The Talbot mirrors are the only way to go if you
want the very best. Do I have a set yet? No. Note I said yet! :)
Seriously, these things are some sort of nice but as always, you pay for
what you get. They are impressive both in looks as well as in price.
In the meantime, I have a stick on convex on my right hand side mirror. It
works suitable well for the purpose that it is there for. Does it work 100%
correct - not really - but it works well enough.
Hope this helps.

Subject: Re: [6pack] Side view mirrors
I had a long email discussion with Joe Bowtie Grant about bullet door
mirrors
a while back and I think we concluded that the Talbot mirrors were the bees
knees as far as quality, form and function were concerned although a bit
pricey. Short of a stick-on convex mirror (which is what I currently have on
the passenger side) these were the only bullet mirrors that we found that
came
with a convex glass option.

Around that time Dick Taylor said he had managed to re-cut an off the shelf
convex mirror into a suitable size for the bullets (typically 4 inches) but
I
don't know that he ever revealed the secret of that technique.
