I always change my oil and filter at the end of the driving season, so its
clean now. I just pulled the dipstick, looks perfect. The car sits in an
unheated garage. Winters are very cold and dry here on the Canadian
Prairies. I used 15W40 rated CG-4, CH-4 CF/SH. I'll add some Lucas or STP
oil supplement.
I know many change their oil again at the beginning of the
season, but is this really necessary? Seems a waste to dump clean oil.
