I forgot one.. The connector for the two heater hoses that is screwed to the
bulkhead. That came from TRF as a plated unpainted piece. Does it stay as
unpainted metal or does it get painted body color ?
BTW the new rad overflow bottle bracket did come unpainted, plated metal from
TRF. The windscreen washer bottle bracket came as painted black (to paraphrase
Mick Jagger).
Oh, and one further question about the alternator. Mine is in a standard Lucas
unit in good condition but the metal body looks like oxidized whatever it is
made of. Do these clean up or should I leave well alone ?
