Thanks, Greg! Your T.R.O.M. is the first one to show that the '73 has
the larger exhaust valves as factory installed, on engines made prior to
CF12500.

Engine no. CF11143 would have the the larger exhaust valve (1.256"). The
change point for the carburated engine is up to CF121500 has the 1.256".
The carburated engine from CF12501 has the 1.193" exhaust valve.
The Triumph Repair Operation Manual (for TR6, TR250, TR5, TR4 and TR4A)
was published in 1977. I bought it in 1983 from the local Jaguar
dealership.
