About Dynamat:  you said it is expensiv...  Well, you looked in the wrong
place!  

With a little research I found the Dynamat Extreme Bulk packages and they
are not that expensive.  I used this extensively in my TR6 and it made a
huge difference.  I highly recommend this material.  You can see pictures
