Hey John,
For my two cents on the flexible floor - personally I don't see flexible as
a very big deal.
The car isn't a unibody car - (it doesn't use the sheetmetal as a stressed
part of the chassis)
In your TR6 - the floor is there just to be a barrier between the driver
and the outside world.
If you've got holes in your floor -and air and water are getting through -
then I'd worry about it.
Otherwise - make note of it, keep it on the "to do list" but keep it down
low on the list.
Enjoy driving the car - don't let a little rust on the underside of the
floorpans bother you.
