I would be very wary.. there was a TR5 on ebay in the UK recently, it was
identified right away as the photos posted on eBay were ripped off from a
recent owners web site. The seller had no history and the price was just plain
silly (low).
I think these scams are there to collect deposit money and then vanish. This
eBay listing matches that profile very well.

Since I'm putting this out in the public domain that means someone could get
a good deal or advise me that this is really bogus. There is a TR250 on
Ebay right now that looks sweet. Too sweet for a Buy it Now price of
$4,500. Ebay item number is
230142914223

I'd love to think that I could get a car in that condition for that price,
and who knows, maybe it's legit, but take a look. Someone else thinks they
may have seen this car listed before and something didn't smell right.
Owner claims
1. I don't have more pictures available at this time.
2. The paint is original.
3. I have the car from my father since 1990.
4. OD.
5. The car is in great condition inside, outside and mechanically. No
problems.
6. I will sell it for such a low price because I lost my wife 4 months ago
and I need money very fast to pay a bank loan.
7. yes the buy it now price is $4,800.
The VIN number seems to indicate that it is not an OD car and the pictures
are unclear. Anybody seen this car, know the owner, got an idea of how this
goes?
Cheers,
