Greg---I used 7 lb. cap for many years on my '73, thinking the lower
rate might prolong the heater valve diaphragm life. The "book" does call
for a 13 lb. cap, tho. Any autoparts store sells them, and the rate of
pressure to unseat the cap seal is marked on the package.

To All,
I am in desperate need of a new radiator cap for my 73 TR6. The Stant
on-line site does not give a product number for this application. My old
cap was a 7 lb model, but from what I can research I think I should be
using one rated at 13 lbs. My radiator is the later style without a
drain petcock.
What do you all use on the TR6?
Please help, the weekend is just about here.
