I usually adjust valves in firing order sequence. When one cylinder has the intake and exhaust valves 'on the rock' with one just closing and the other just opening you adjust the valves on the partner cylinder. On the TR6 the partner cylinders are 1- 6, 2 - 5, 3 - 4 Just go along and do them 1 - 5 - 3 - 6 - 2 - 4 If you have a cam where one valve or the other is open at the top of the compression stroke, this won't work - and chances are neither will your motor ;-) mjb. |
