Joe---The "conflict of information" could be due to the type of tranny
one is referring to. The (Toyota) 5 speed transmission conversion has a
floating splined flange at its output shaft, and requires that the
propshaft's splined shaft be locked.
 The TR six tranny does not have this floating splined shaft, so the
float must take place in the propshaft.
