Dennis,
I ran the Mitty one time, when we did the MG/Triumph Challenge there. We lost
one session to rain. This can be expected in the spring, anywhere, but not a
good reason for staying away. Great event, heavily & successfully promoted
by Tim Suddard and GRM.
HOWEVER, the big one for Triumphs this year will be MOTRAH-007 at Road
America in May. Kas Kastner and Peg will be joining us. John Sprinzel as well
as his
wife, Caryl. Racing great, Lew Spencer has been invited. Folks are expected
from the Pacific Northwest, SoCal, and the east coast.
The Austin-Healey/Morgan/Triumph Challenge, in MAY appears to growing into
one of the year's most significant events for the Triumph guys. I know that
you
just recently attended Road America, and you owe yourself a trip to Road
Atlanta...but you might wait until next year. :-) We will have a group
paddock
and there will be some interesting Triumphs there, as well as a hospitality
tent.
Best Regards,
Joe Alexander
