Hi Oliver,
I have a four post 14,000 lb lift in my little one story two car garage. The
extended lift was purchased used and had to be shortened a few feet just to
fit in the garage. Virtually half the garage now goes up and down! I drive
on and use it as a parking place. The overhead had to be opened up by adding
heavy collar ties and a large header. Even most full size cars and midsized
trucks can be raised to full height. It is one of the most useful things
I've ever purchased. The last lift project was fabricating a complete
stainless steel 2.5" exhaust system for my TR6. I wouldn't have even
considered a project like that without the lift. This particular lift is
from Bend-Pac. Go for it.
