John---I'm sure wheel bearing grease would work, but don't know its
staying power in this application.  I know a grease with a graphite base
works well. Molykote, or the like.

Is there some special grease to use on the front cover and throwout
bearing?   I happen to have a copy of the Gunst instructions, although
I am not installing one, and he provides special grease for his
application.   Is wheel bearing grease OK to use?
