Hi,
Right now the woofer sits on the rear shelf. Since it is a woofer, and there
are no high or mid range sounds coming from it, it works just fine with the
blocker in the down position. In the up position the woofer will transmit
sounds under the blocker so no difference in that position either. In my car,
even without the blocker I would think the sound from rear shelf speakers might
be a little muffled since I don't use a boot cover but a full sized tonneau
cover that tends to flow down into the space where speakers would be mounted. I
have my eye on and plan to order a powered sub, the JVC CS-BB2, the only sub
woofer that I have found that will fit on the floor behind the seat. See the
link below for more information:

Keep in mind that I am not as tall as some drivers so my seat isn't all the
way back but the sub should still fit, even if it had to be put on its side and
pointed towards the driver.
As for a physical interference it would depend on how far forward your
speakers extended in their enclosures. I can always measure the distance
available on mine but if I were a betting man I would bet that your speakers
would sit behind the wind blocker with no problems.

Aaron,
I am assuming that your woofer sits on the rear shelf. How does the woofer
perform with the wind blocker in the upright position and bottom position? I
have two 6x9 box speakers on the rear shelf. Would there be any interference
physically and musically?
