Thanks Richard. I really like POR15 for its adhesion quality on less
than perfectly clean steel and the fact that it sets up as a very hardy
finish so it sounds like it will probably work on the rear drums and I
can always flash it with a black topcoat so it doesnt fade.

I'm pretty sure that I used POR on my rear ones, 3 years ago and still
on them. Might want to consider if you have wire wheels and drive the
car often that POR turns chalky when expossed to sunlight. I have wires
but the car doesn't site outside still looks good. Por seems to be thick
so I would hold more heat than other types of paint I would think.
