Further to your post, Vance, my brake system is in good shape (rebuilt master, good pads, new rear cylinders, all new lines/hoses, etc., etc.). The brakes work very well (or as well as you would expect from 30 year old technology). However, one quirk is that there is more pedal travel when backing up, until I pump them a bit. The brakes were like this even before I did all the work. Rear brakes are adjusted properly, too. Rich C. Nova Scotia ----- > |
