Looking at the fuel lines, I notice that my car does not have any clamps
holding the rubber connections to the metal pipes.
I suppose that the pressure upstream of the fuel pump is very small - cant
be more that a couple of feet of head (gasoline even lowe pressure due to
the lower density). Down stream of the pump what is the fuel pressure 2-3
psig? I am not sure if clamps are really needed - but still I don't feel
too good about fuel leaks.
Bentley does not seem to show any clamps. The Moss catalog diagrams do
indicate clamps in these positions. What is the stock configuration for a
1970?
