Magnecor ignition wires

I'm wanting to replace my ignition wires and after reading through some old 
posts, it seems like Magnecor might be the 
way to go.  I found one website that sells both 7mm and 8.5mm versions.  
Considering the fact that with the exception 
of a sport coil my engine is pretty much stock, would the 7mm be fine for my 
purposes?
