I've also done the front suspension R&R as Vance described. On the removal, a spring compressor is not absolutely necessary as the weight of the car on a jack stand placed beneath the shock tower/lower pan is enough to safely loosen all the lower pan nuts. Contrary to the Bentley manual, the reverse of this procedure requires a compressor (at least for me). Rick O. 72 TR6 |
