I dunno Joe, but autocrossing wire wheels on anything stickier than Avid T4s
sounds like you risk transfering more cornering force thru those wheels than
your spokes can stand.
I know people actually raced on wire wheels at one time, but tire technology
has come a long way since them.
But, I've never had wire wheels, so I'd love see a post from anyone who
actually knows if this might be a risky thing to do.
