John---The Lincoln or a Miller are good welders. Get a 220V if your shop is wired for it, but a 120V is OK for the thinner metals for the body skin. If you have the need for more than this one repair, check out the local colleges that have courses in welding. Figure on about a 100 hour course to get comfortable with the process. It's a great investment to keep our cars on the road! Dick |
