John,

I used mat from JC Whitney which was inexpensive and worked great. I
used it as a replacement for the underfelt. Installed it foil side down.
It really made the car sound "solid" kept noise and heat down.

First off, thanks to everyone who responded to my first set of questions
today. Second, I have some more questions for
the group that I can't seem to find the answers to in the archives. I
want to install some sort of heat deadening
material, such as Dynamat, when I replace the carpet. When you use a
product such as that, do you place it over or
under the underfelt? Or does it replace the underfelt altogether?
Lastly, are there alternative products? I seem to
remember someone mentioning a cheaper product carried at Lowes.
