IMHO the flat black valance of the TR is one of the defining elements and 
really gives the car much of its period character (Dodge Challengers of the 
70s also had that look).  So, any color that contrasts that well is a good 
choice.  I'd recommend trolling the triumphowners site and looking for a 
color scheme that catches your eye.
